In September and October of 2017, the elementary first grade classes did two input tests about language competences. The school starters took the test in two versions: the one in standard Hungarian, and the other one invited them to translanguaging. This second test was built on Romani language resources as used in Tiszavasvári and on pictures thought to be culturally relevant. It was assisted by a co-worker speaking home language practices of the children, and they were encouraged to mobilise both their Hungarian and Romani language Resources.
Listening comprehension for the translingual test and for the one with standard Hungarian.
